Purpose and Intent
Offers participants awareness and tactics to improve team success and collective achievement. Participants will learn how these three factors interact and how to use them to boost productivity, innovation, and growth for themselves and others. Participants will be empowered to be powerful followers, inspiring leaders, and reliable partners, creating dynamic synergistic situations.

Understanding Followership, leadership and Partnership
FOLLOWERSHIP: Is a reciprocal role to a leader and not a preparation for leadership. Leaders should learn to follow first, according to some. Subordinates' activities and desire to follow a leader. LEADERSHIP: The power to influence and lead team, organization, or community members. Eisenhower (1988) "Leadership is getting someone to do what you want because they want to.
PARTNERSHIP: Two or more people develop a more than transactional relationship when one cares about, supports, and contributes value to the other and receives the same energy.

The Biggest Questions of the Day
Are you a good follower? Which level of followership are you currently operating at? Are there any repairs needed? Are you willing to take the first step to upgrade your ship?
Alienated:
This crew of followers are critical thinkers but are not engaged. They may see themselves as skeptical, but others may think they are cynical.
Exemplary: This crew of followers are both active and critical thinkers.
Passive: This crew of followers are not engaged and do not use critical thinking.
Conformist: This crew of followers are active but do not use critical thinking.
Pragmatist: This crew of followers fall in the middle on both engagement and critical thinking.
The Bible contains many examples of followership, including:
The Old Testament: In Deuteronomy 13:4, Moses instructs the Israelites to "follow the LORD your God and revere only him".
The New Testament: Jesus calls his disciples to "Follow me" in Matthew 4:19. 1 Corinthians 11:1: The apostle Paul writes, "Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ".
Daniel: Daniel provided an example of followership, but he did not blindly obey Darius.
Abraham: Abraham pleaded with God six times to plead for Sodom.
Jesus: Jesus submitted to the Father's will in prayer when he knew he was to be captured, tortured, and murdered. He said, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42).
